Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a popular, non-invasive solution for reducing unwanted body and facial hair. It offers a long-term alternative to traditional hair removal methods like shaving, waxing, threading, tweezing, and depilatory creams. For many individuals—especially those with sensitive skin or recurring skin issues such as ingrown hairs, razor burn, or shaving bumps—laser hair removal can significantly improve both comfort and skin appearance.

How It Works

Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy that targets the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. The heat from the laser damages the follicle, inhibiting future hair growth without harming the surrounding skin. With repeated treatments, hair becomes finer, lighter, and grows more slowly—eventually resulting in long-term or even permanent reduction in hair growth.

Common Areas That Can Be Treated

Laser hair removal is highly versatile and can be performed almost anywhere on the face and body where unwanted hair is a concern. Commonly treated areas include:

Face:

Upper lip
Chin
Sideburns
Jawline
Neck (front and back)
Eyebrows (between or shaping, not directly over eyes)
Upper Body:

Underarms
Arms (full or half)
Hands and fingers
Shoulders
Chest
Areola (around nipples)
Back (upper, lower, or full)
Midsection:

Abdomen (full or line only)
Lower back
Bikini line
Brazilian (full or partial)
Buttocks
Lower Body:

Legs (full, upper, or lower)
Feet and toes
Laser technology allows precise targeting, making it safe and effective for both small, sensitive areas and larger zones requiring more extensive coverage.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

Most individuals are candidates for laser hair removal, especially those with light skin and dark hair, as the contrast makes it easier for the laser to target the hair follicle. However, advances in laser technology now allow treatments for a wide range of skin tones and hair types. A consultation is recommended to assess your skin type, hair color, and suitability for treatment.

Laser hair removal is ideal for people who:

Experience frequent ingrown hairs
Suffer from skin irritation after shaving or waxing
Are looking for a long-term solution to reduce hair growth
Have busy schedules and want to save time spent on daily grooming
What to Expect

Sensation: While not entirely painless, laser hair removal is generally well tolerated. Most clients describe the feeling as a series of quick snaps or a warm rubber band flicking against the skin. If you’re used to waxing or threading, the discomfort is usually milder. A topical anesthetic can be applied to reduce any discomfort, especially in sensitive areas.
Treatment Time: Sessions can take anywhere from a few minutes (e.g., for upper lip) to over an hour (e.g., full legs or back), depending on the size of the treatment area.
Number of Sessions: On average, clients require 8–10 sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles, and multiple treatments are necessary to target hairs in their active growth phase. Maintenance sessions may be recommended every 6–12 months for long-lasting results.
Downtime: Minimal to none. Some clients experience mild redness or swelling, similar to a light sunburn, which typically subsides within 24–48 hours.
Benefits of Laser Hair Removal

Significant reduction in hair growth
Smoother, softer skin
Fewer ingrown hairs and less irritation
Cost-effective over time compared to waxing or shaving
Minimal maintenance once the treatment series is completed
If you're ready to say goodbye to the hassle of shaving and waxing, laser hair removal could be the perfect solution. Book a consultation to discuss your goals, assess your skin and hair type, and create a personalized treatment plan.

Electrocautery: A Precise Dermal Treatment
Electrocautery is a minor dermatological procedure that uses a controlled electric current to generate heat, which is then applied to targeted skin tissue. This technique is commonly used to remove benign skin lesions such as warts, skin tags, seborrheic keratoses, and other non-cancerous growths.
How It Works:
A metal probe, heated by an electric current, is carefully applied to the lesion. The heat burns and destroys the unwanted tissue while simultaneously cauterizing (sealing) small blood vessels to reduce bleeding. Local anesthesia is typically administered to ensure patient comfort during the procedure.

Benefits:
Precision: Only the affected tissue is targeted, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy skin.
Minimal bleeding: The heat seals blood vessels, reducing bleeding and the risk of infection.
Quick recovery: Healing usually occurs within 1 to 2 weeks, with minimal scarring in most cases.
Convenient: The procedure is generally fast, often completed in 15 to 30 minutes.

Electrocautery is a safe and effective option for removing superficial skin lesions with minimal discomfort and downtime.

While many patients achieve satisfying results with a single electrocautery treatment, some cases may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired outcome. It’s important to understand that individual results can vary, and there is no absolute guarantee that the expected results will be fully achieved. Your body’s unique healing response plays a significant role in the final outcome of the procedure.

Possible Side Effects and Post-Treatment Care
Side effects may include, but are not limited to: mild to severe redness, local swelling, bruising, tenderness, stinging, skin darkening, and, in rare cases, infection. Most side effects are temporary and typically resolve within 7 to 21 days.
You are advised not to touch, rub, or scratch the treated area. Do not pick at any scabs; allow them to fall off naturally to prevent scarring and promote proper healing.
It is important to:
Keep the treated area clean.
Use recommended hydrating and soothing skincare products.
Avoid sun exposure for at least one week.
Apply a broad-spectrum sunblock to the area until it is completely healed.
You will be provided with guidance on professional, protective post-care skincare products to support and accelerate the healing process.

Common Conditions Treated with Electrocautery:
Warts
Effectively removes common and plantar warts by destroying the virus-infected tissue.
Skin Tags
Safely eliminates soft, skin-colored growths that commonly appear on the neck, underarms, or eyelids.
Seborrheic Keratoses
Removes these benign, often age-related lesions that appear as rough, waxy, or wart-like growths.
Cherry Angiomas
Targets small, bright red vascular lesions, commonly found on the torso, arms, and legs.
Milia
Treats tiny, white keratin-filled cysts that typically appear around the eyes or cheeks.
Age Spots (Solar Lentigines / Hyperpigmentation Spots)
Lightens or removes flat, brown discolorations caused by sun exposure—commonly treated areas include the hands, face, and arms.
Actinic Keratosis
Can be used to treat rough, scaly patches that are considered precancerous, reducing the risk of progression to skin cancer.

Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses fine, sterile needles to create thousands of microchannels in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production—two proteins essential for youthful, firm, and smooth skin.
Microneedling is also a targeted treatment to stimulate hair growth and improve scalp health using advanced microneedling technology. This service promotes circulation, supports follicle rejuvenation, and can be enhanced with growth serums or exosomes for optimal results. Ideal for thinning hair or early hair loss.

What Does Microneedling Treat?
Microneedling is a versatile treatment that can address a wide range of skin concerns, including:

Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars and surgical scars
Stretch marks
Uneven skin texture
Enlarged pores
Hyperpigmentation and sunspots
Dull or dehydrated skin
Skin laxity and early signs of aging
It can also be used for scalp rejuvenation and hair loss treatment by stimulating dormant hair follicles.
Thinning hair or hair shedding
Early signs of hair loss
Patchy or uneven hair density

How It Works
A specialized microneedling device—either a pen or roller with fine needles—is used to create microscopic punctures in the skin. These tiny injuries don’t damage the outer layer but trigger the skin’s natural wound-healing process, which involves:

Inflammation – Immediate response to begin the healing process.
Proliferation – New tissue and blood vessel formation.
Remodeling – Strengthening of skin structure through collagen and elastin development.
For enhanced results, microneedling can be combined with serums, growth factors, exosomes, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which penetrate more effectively through the microchannels.

Treatment Areas
Microneedling is safe for most skin types and can be performed on the:

Face
Neck
Décolleté (chest)
Scalp
Hands
Abdomen
Stretch-marked or scarred areas on the body
What to Expect
Comfort: A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or tingling.
Downtime: Expect redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days post-treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. Light flaking or dryness may occur as the skin renews itself.
Sessions: A series of 4 to 8 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is typically recommended for best results. Maintenance treatments will follow.
Results
Visible improvements can be seen within 1–2 weeks, with continued improvements for several months as collagen builds. Skin becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant over time.

Benefits of Microneedling
Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production
Improves skin tone, texture, and clarity
Reduces scars, fine lines, and large pores
Enhances absorption of active ingredients
Safe for all skin tones with minimal downtime
Microneedling is an excellent option for individuals looking for a natural, results-driven solution to improve skin quality and appearance. Book a consultation today to discover how microneedling can revitalize your skin from the inside out.

Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects people of all ages. Doctors describe acne as an infection of the ‘pilosebaceous unit”, which consists of the sebaceous gland – or pore that is connected to the hair follicle. These units are the largest and most numerous on the face, upper back, and chest areas where acne tends to occur. Acne commonly occurs during puberty due to the increased production of androgen hormones – which stimulate the sebaceous gland, causing an excessive amount of oil. Cysts and nodules may develop as well as scarring, which can be very difficult to get rid of.
An acne blemish is caused when the sebaceous gland overproduces oil, which causes cells to stick to the pore and block the oil inside the follicle. The skin then grows over the pore, which causes a buildup of oil under the skin, resulting in a bump under the skin. If air gets under the skin, it will oxidize the oil, turning it black and resulting in a blackhead.
There are some external factors that play a role in acne blemishes, such as:
Changing hormone levels
Stress
Tension
Improper cosmetics
Friction from clothing
Pollution
High humidity
Squeezing the lesion

At Beam & Bare, we offer a wide variety of treatments to improve acne, acne scarring, active acne, and acne breakouts. We ensure that you will receive the correct diagnosis, treatment plan, and skin care program that works for you and your skin.

Dark Circles

Dark under-eye circles are a common concern that can make the face appear tired, aged, or unwell—even when you’re feeling your best. At our clinic, we understand that not all dark circles are the same, and identifying the root cause is key to effective treatment.

What Causes Dark Circles?

Dark circles are typically caused by two primary factors:

Excess Melanin (Hyperpigmentation):
When melanin—the pigment that gives skin its color—accumulates excessively under the eyes, it can cause a shadowed or brownish appearance. This type of pigmentation is known as periorbital hyperpigmentation and can be influenced by:

Genetics

Sun exposure

Hormonal changes

Aging

Inflammation or rubbing of the eyes

Certain medications or underlying skin conditions

Poor Circulation or Vascular Shadowing:
In some cases, dark circles are caused by dilated blood vessels or sluggish circulation beneath the thin under-eye skin. This creates a bluish, purplish, or reddish hue and may be made more visible by:

Fatigue or lack of sleep

Stress

Allergies

Dehydration

Thinning skin with age

Personalized Diagnosis = Better Results

Because different types of dark circles respond to different treatments, correctly identifying the underlying cause is essential. That’s why we begin each client’s journey with a complimentary consultation, where one of our trained professionals will assess your skin and recommend the most appropriate options.

Treatment Options

While mild cases may improve with topical products, eye creams, or lifestyle adjustments, more persistent or severe pigmentation often requires professional intervention. Our clinic offers advanced laser treatments and skin therapiesthat are specifically designed to target both:

Pigmented dark circles (caused by melanin buildup)

Vascular dark circles (caused by poor circulation or blood pooling)

By matching the treatment to the cause, we can help you achieve brighter, more refreshed under-eyes, and restore a youthful, well-rested appearance.

Why Choose Us?

Complimentary skin analysis and consultation

Expertise in treating multiple causes of dark circles

Advanced laser systems suited for pigmentation and vascular issues

Customized treatment plans for optimal outcomes

Laser Treatments for Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Smooth, lift, and restore youthful skin—naturally and non-invasively.

Aging is inevitable—but looking your age doesn’t have to be. At Beam & Bare, we offer advanced laser treatments for fine lines and wrinkles that work deep within the skin to stimulate collagen, improve elasticity, and reduce visible signs of aging. Our customized solutions help you achieve a smoother, firmer, more radiant complexion—without surgery or downtime.

What Causes Fine Lines and Wrinkles?
Fine lines and wrinkles develop as the skin gradually loses collagen, elastin, and fat volume. These changes—often starting as early as your 20s—are accelerated by factors like:

Natural aging
UV sun damage
Dehydration and poor skin care
Repeated facial expressions
Smoking and environmental toxins
Stress and hormonal changes
Over time, this leads to loss of firmness, texture irregularities, and the development of crow’s feet, forehead lines, laugh lines, and neck creases.

How Laser Treatments Help
Our non-invasive laser skin rejuvenation technology targets the deeper layers of the skin to:

Boost collagen and elastin production
Refine skin texture and tone
Reduce the depth of fine lines and wrinkles
Tighten and lift sagging skin
Improve overall radiance and youthfulness

By promoting natural regeneration beneath the surface, laser therapy delivers visible, long-lasting improvements—without the risks or recovery of invasive procedures.

Areas We Treat
Forehead and frown lines
Crow’s feet around the eyes
Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
Marionette lines near the mouth
Lip lines and chin creases

Laser Therapy for Hyperpigmentation, Brown Spots & Sun Damage

Uneven skin tone, brown spots, and sun damage are common skin concerns that can affect your complexion’s clarity and radiance. These issues are often the result of excess melanin production, a process triggered by factors such as UV exposure, hormonal changes, inflammation, and aging.

At our clinic, we offer advanced laser treatments designed to safely and effectively target unwanted pigmentation, restoring a more even, luminous skin tone with minimal downtime.

What Is Hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation refers to areas of skin that become darker than the surrounding tissue due to an overproduction of melanin. Common types include:

Sun spots / Age spots (solar lentigines) – flat brown spots caused by cumulative sun exposure

Melasma – hormonally triggered pigmentation, often appearing on the cheeks, forehead, or upper lip

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) – dark marks left after acne, injuries, or skin irritation

Freckles – small, flat pigmented spots, often hereditary and sun-sensitive

How Laser Therapy Works

Our medical-grade laser systems use precisely controlled light energy to break down excess melanin in the skin without harming surrounding tissue. The body naturally clears away the pigment over time, revealing brighter, clearer skin beneath.

Key benefits of laser therapy for pigmentation include:

Precision targeting of pigmented lesions

Minimal damage to surrounding skin

Gradual fading of dark spots with each session

Stimulation of collagen for improved skin texture and tone

Depending on your unique skin and the type of pigmentation, we may recommend Q-switched lasers, fractional lasers, or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) as part of your customized treatment plan.

What to Expect

Treatment time: 15–45 minutes, depending on the area treated

Comfort: Most clients report only mild to moderate discomfort; numbing cream may be used

Downtime: Minimal to Moderate; some redness or darkening of treated spots is expected temporarily

Results: Visible improvement after 4-6 sessions; best results typically seen after a series of 4–6 treatments, spaced 4- 6 weeks apart

Ideal Treatment Areas

Laser therapy for pigmentation is safe and effective on the:

Face

Neck & décolleté

Hands

Arms & shoulders

Back

Any sun-exposed areas

Why Choose Laser for Pigmentation?

Fast, targeted, and non-invasive

Clinically proven results

Safe for most skin types and tones

Long-term improvement in pigmentation and skin clarity

Can be combined with chemical peels, microneedling, or topical brighteners for enhanced results

Laser Treatments for Feminine Rejuvenation

(External Treatment Only)

Laser technology has become an increasingly popular, non-invasive solution for external feminine rejuvenation, addressing common concerns related to aging, childbirth, and hormonal changes. At our clinic, we offer gentle, effective laser treatments designed specifically for the external vulvar area, helping to restore comfort, appearance, and confidence.

What Is External Feminine Rejuvenation?
External feminine rejuvenation involves the use of fractional or non-ablative laser energy to treat the outer genital area, particularly the labia majora and surrounding vulvar tissue. This treatment is focused solely on the external tissue—there is no internal or vaginal canal treatment involved.

What Does It Treat?
Laser rejuvenation of the external vulvar area can improve:

Laxity or sagging of the labia
Dryness or skin thinning of the external genital tissue
Uneven skin tone or texture
Loss of firmness or elasticity
Post-childbirth or age-related changes in appearance
Mild irritation or discomfort from friction or certain clothing
These concerns often result from aging, menopause, weight loss, or pregnancy and childbirth, and can affect both function and self-confidence.

How It Works
The treatment uses gentle laser energy to safely heat the superficial layers of the skin. This thermal stimulation encourages:

Collagen remodeling
Improved circulation
Enhanced tissue tone and elasticity
Restoration of a healthier, more youthful appearance
The laser treatment is precise, non-surgical, and non-hormonal, with minimal discomfort or downtime.

What to Expect
Procedure time: 15–30 minutes per session
Comfort: Most patients describe the treatment as a mild warming sensation; no anesthesia is typically needed
Downtime: Minimal to none—patients can usually return to normal daily activities immediately
Results: Progressive improvement over several weeks as new collagen forms; optimal results are often achieved after 3–4 sessions, spaced about 4 weeks apart

Who Is a Good Candidate?
External laser feminine rejuvenation is suitable for women who:

Want to improve the appearance or firmness of the external vulvar area
Prefer a non-surgical, hormone-free treatment
Experience dryness, irritation, or mild discomfort due to aging or childbirth
Are looking for subtle but noticeable aesthetic and functional improvements

Benefits
Non-invasive, in-office procedure
Enhances appearance, comfort, and self-confidence
Stimulates natural collagen production
No surgery, downtime, or hormonal treatments required
Safe for most skin types
If you're looking for a gentle, effective way to rejuvenate the outer intimate area and restore a sense of comfort and confidence, external laser feminine rejuvenation may be the right choice for you. New to Beam & Bare is the Intra-Oral Inlift laser procedure. This new service is a cheek lift that will help diminish sagging skin. In this unique procedure we are treating the skin by using the laser on the inside of the mouth targeting the cheeks, as well as outside of the mouth.
When treating inside the mouth we are smoothing the nasal folds, the cheeks and any smoker lines around the mouth. By having treatment on both inside and outside of the mouth, we are able to treat from all angles providing optimal results.

We can also treat the lips, which is a great alternative to lip injections. In this procedure the lips are left plumper, not to the same degree as lip injections but a more natural, youthful plump. It will also bring colour back to the lips.

Nail Fungus
At Beam & Bare, we offer laser treatments to help aid in the nourishment and growth of nails affected by nail fungus.
Onychomycosis is a condition that involves toenails or fingernails.
Toenails are susceptible to infection when they are exposed to the ideal environment for fungal growth: a humid, dark, and warm environment.
Nail fungus is an infection that lives underneath the nail and in the skin of the nail bed.

If left untreated, the infection could spread to other nails or people.

Lasers can treat most nail fungus by penetrating and heating up the nail to destroy the fungus embedded in and under the nail plate.
It may take up to 9 to 12 months for a healthy nail to grow, therefore, it is advised that you start treatment immediately and be consistent with treatments.
You should have very little to no side effects from this treatment.
Obtaining healthy nails is a SLOW process.
Finger nails and toenails grow very slowly, especially when unhealthy. You may not notice improvement for some time.
When you do see improvements, it may be subtle. The nail may remain discoloured or not be joined to the nail bed.
This treatment will not change the shape, width, or other deformities of the nail plate.
It is normal to notice slow thinning of thick nails, clear nail growth at the nail bed, and/or reduced discolouration.

Psoriasis Treatment at Beam & Bare

Relieve symptoms. Restore comfort. Renew confidence.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that presents as red, raised patches covered with thick, silver-white scales. These patches form when skin cells reproduce much faster than normal, causing a build-up of excess skin on the surface.

While not contagious, psoriasis can be incredibly uncomfortable and difficult to manage, often leading to itching, burning, and visible irritation that affects both skin health and self-esteem.

Commonly Affected Areas
Psoriasis can appear almost anywhere on the body but is most often found on:

Elbows
Knees
Scalp
Lower back
Fingernails and toenails
In some cases, it can also affect the face, hands, and soles of the feet.

What Causes Psoriasis?
The exact cause of psoriasis is still being studied, but it's believed to be linked to an overactive immune system that triggers inflammation and accelerates skin cell turnover. Genetics plays a major role, and while the condition often runs in families, symptoms can be triggered or worsened by:

Stress
Illness
Cold weather
Skin injuries
Certain medications
How We Treat Psoriasis at Beam & Bare
At Beam & Bare, we offer targeted laser therapy as part of our treatment options for managing psoriasis. This advanced approach uses controlled ultraviolet (UV) light to reduce inflammation and slow the rapid production of skin cells in affected areas.

Benefits of Laser Psoriasis Therapy:
Non-invasive and clinically proven
Treats localized patches with precision
Reduces redness, flaking, and itching
Helps extend remission between flare-ups
Suitable for areas resistant to creams or topicals
Laser therapy is often recommended for individuals who have moderate to severe plaques or those who haven't found relief through traditional creams and medications.

What to Expect
Treatment Time: 10–30 minutes depending on the size and location of the area
Comfort: Gentle, well-tolerated by most clients
Downtime: Minimal to none
Results: Some clients notice improvement after just a few sessions, with full results visible over a course of treatments
Laser therapy may be combined with other dermatologist-recommended skin care routines or home regimens to help keep flare-ups under control.

Laser Treatment for Scars & Stretch Marks
Reclaim smooth, healthy-looking skin with advanced laser solutions.

At Beam & Bare, we understand the emotional and physical impact that scars and stretch marks can have on your confidence and overall well-being. Whether caused by injury, surgery, acne, or rapid changes in the skin such as pregnancy or weight fluctuation, these marks tell a story—one you may prefer to fade.

Scars

Scars form when the skin heals from an injury or surgery, often leaving behind raised, discoloured, or textured areas. Laser therapy is a proven, non-invasive option for treating a wide range of scars, including surgical, traumatic, and acne-related types.

Our laser treatments work by targeting the dermis to remodel collagen, reduce inflammation, and smooth irregularities. This can:

Prevent the formation of raised scars (hypertrophic or keloid) post-surgery
Soften and flatten existing scars
Reduce redness and discolouration
Relieve itching or tightness
Improve range of motion when scarring affects movement
While laser therapy won’t erase scars completely, it can dramatically improve their appearance, making them less visible and more comfortable over time.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks (striae) occur when the skin stretches rapidly and the underlying collagen and elastin fibers tear. They are common on areas like the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, hips, and breasts, and can result from growth spurts, pregnancy, weight changes, or hormonal shifts.

Using advanced laser technology, we target the underlying layers of skin to stimulate collagen production, improve texture, and even out pigmentation. Treatments help to:

Fade red, purple, or white stretch marks
Smooth uneven texture
Tighten skin and improve elasticity
Encourage long-term regeneration of damaged tissue
Comprehensive Care

In addition to in-clinic laser therapy, we offer customized home care solutions to complement your results. These include medical-grade skincare products designed to support healing, hydration, and collagen renewal.

Book your complimentary consultation today and let our team at Beam & Bare create a personalized treatment plan to help you feel more confident in your skin.

Snoring
There are a variety of treatments for snoring ranging from changes in your lifestyle to surgical procedures. Some individuals find great results from at-home snoring treatments, while others need the help of a medical professional.
Laser treatments are being recognized as a popular solution for severe snorers. Individuals who have exhausted at-home treatments for snoring can now explore laser treatments to help.
The nonsurgical laser treatment, InLift has been popular for several years in the United States, Canada and Europe. This treatment does not involve incisions, cutting or burning unlike the surgical treatment. It is known to have a better success rate, as well as has a faster and easier recovery time. Most individuals prefer the nonsurgical treatment option.

The InLift treatment is done in office. Using a laser, the palate’s soft tissue is heated up. This will not feel uncomfortable but it will feel warm. The soft palate and the back of the throat will be tightened and toned by the laser which causes collagen contraction. In return, the back of the throat will be prevented from relaxing excessively and collapsing over the throat while sleeping. The soft palate will shrink which will open the airway up even more.

Tattoo Removal

With the rise in tattoo popularity over the past 20 years, the demand for safe and effective tattoo removal has grown just as rapidly. At Beam & Bare, we offer advanced laser tattoo removal treatments designed to safely fade or fully remove unwanted tattoos, whether due to lifestyle changes, career requirements, personal growth, or the desire to make space for new body art.

Why Choose Laser Tattoo Removal?
Laser tattoo removal is an effective solution for fading or eliminating tattoos of various sizes, colours, and styles. The process works by delivering concentrated pulses of light that are absorbed by the tattoo pigments. These light pulses break the ink into tiny particles, which the body gradually eliminates through its natural healing processes.

Laser technology has evolved significantly, allowing for better outcomes with fewer side effects, and it is now possible to treat both single-colour and multi-colour tattoos with a high degree of success.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients require between 8 and 24 sessions, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, depending on several key factors:

Tattoo colour(s): Some pigments (like black) respond more quickly, while others (such as green, blue, or red) may require more sessions.
Ink quality: Professional tattoos often use deeper and denser ink, requiring additional treatments compared to amateur tattoos.
Ink depth: The deeper the ink sits in the dermis, the more sessions may be required.
Tattoo age: Older tattoos tend to fade more quickly due to natural pigment breakdown over time.
Body location and skin type: Areas with better blood flow tend to heal more efficiently, aiding in pigment clearance.
Because each tattoo and client is unique, a personalized treatment plan is developed during your consultation.

What to Expect
Visible results can sometimes be seen just weeks after the first session, though noticeable and consistent fading typically becomes apparent after 4 to 6 treatments. Sessions are generally quick, though some discomfort may be experienced during the procedure—often compared to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Most clients find this discomfort manageable, and cooling methods or topical anesthetics can be used to improve comfort.

Aftercare: Healing & Skin Recovery
Proper post-treatment care is crucial to optimize healing and achieve the best results.

We recommend:

Topical ointments such as Polysporin to prevent infection and support healing during the first few days post-treatment.
Sun protection: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher to protect the treated area if it will be exposed to sunlight.
Avoid picking, rubbing, or scratching the area to prevent scarring or infection.
Advanced Scar Management: V-STAT™ Advanced Scar Gel
To further support your skin’s recovery and reduce the risk of post-treatment scarring, we recommend V-STAT™ Advanced Scar Gel by Vivier. This topical treatment is especially effective in preventing and minimizing the appearance of hypertrophic scars (raised, thick scars that can form following skin trauma).

V-STAT™ Benefits:

Prevents hypertrophic scar formation
Minimizes the appearance of new scars
Repairs dry, irritated skin
Suitable for all skin types
Fragrance-free and paraben-free
Contains 0.8% Polyamine-DAB™ (1,4 Diaminobutane), a clinically proven compound that supports the skin’s healing and aging processes
Recommended by physicians and supported by clinical research, V-STAT™ is an excellent addition to your aftercare routine.

Ready to Begin?
Whether you want to remove your tattoo entirely or lighten it for a cover-up, Beam & Bare is here to help you through the process safely and effectively. Book a consultation with one of our specialists today to discuss your goals and develop your customized treatment plan.

Laser Vein Therapy at Beam & Bare

Effective treatment for spider veins and vascular lesions—no surgery, minimal downtime.

At Beam & Bare, we offer non-invasive laser vein treatments to effectively reduce the appearance of spider veins, vascular lesions, and broken capillaries, helping restore a clearer, more even-toned complexion and skin confidence.

What Are Spider Veins and Vascular Lesions?

Spider veins are small, dilated blood vessels that appear close to the skin's surface, often red, purple, or blue in color. They may resemble a spider web or fine branches and are typically found on the legs, ankles, and face.

Vascular lesions, such as telangiectasia and cherry angiomas, are clusters of capillaries or blood vessels that have become visible due to skin thinning, trauma, or circulatory changes.

What Causes Them?

Several factors can contribute to the development of spider veins and vascular lesions:

Genetics / Heredity

Occupations requiring prolonged standing (e.g. nurses, teachers, retail workers)

Hormonal fluctuations from pregnancy, menopause, puberty, or oral contraceptives

Postmenopausal hormone therapy

Excess weight or sedentary lifestyle

Sun exposure (especially facial veins)

History of blood clots

Abdominal pressure from tumors, constipation, or tight garments

Use of vasodilators or substances that widen blood vessels

Symptoms You May Experience

Aching, burning, or throbbing in the legs

Heaviness or tiredness in the lower limbs

Swelling or itching around the vein site

Leg cramps or restlessness (especially at night)

Skin discoloration, ulcers, or texture changes in advanced cases

Flare-ups during menstruation or pregnancy in women

How Laser Vein Therapy Works

Our state-of-the-art laser technology delivers pulses of light that selectively heat and collapse unwanted veins, causing them to fade gradually as your body naturally reabsorbs the treated vessels. Healthy surrounding tissue is unaffected, and there is no incision or scarring involved.

What to Expect

Treatment Areas: Face, legs, ankles, chest

Session Time: 15–45 minutes

Sensation: Feels like a brief snap or warm pulse—well-tolerated

Downtime: Minimal; you can resume most activities right away

Number of Treatments: Typically 2–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart

Compression Socks: Pre & Post Care

For vein treatments on the legs, we recommend medical-grade compression socks to improve circulation and optimize results:

Before Treatment:

Wear compression socks if standing for long periods the day of your appointment

Stay well-hydrated and avoid sun exposure on the treatment area

After Treatment:

Wear compression socks daily for 5–7 days following each session to:

Support blood flow

Reduce swelling

Enhance healing

Avoid hot baths, strenuous activity, or prolonged sun exposure for 48 hours

Apply SPF daily to treated areas if exposed to sunlight

Do not pick or rub the treated area
